Who says kickboxing is only for men? The 23-year-old full-contact kickboxer Mariell Gaassand Straume from Norway certainly doesn't. She is in good company with her brothers Patrick and Raymond (both professionals). Together, the trio is shattering all records. Full-contact kickboxing is a sport that requires full physical exertion, but also maximum concentration. For Mariell, Zinzino was one of the biggest helpers in the ring.

What prizes and titles have you already won?
"My biggest success to date is Senior World Cup gold. I've won bronze in the Junior World Cup, silver in the European Junior Cup and several Norwegian titles. My goal is to become world champion in full-contact kickboxing."

Have you ever faced any difficulties?
"In the past five years, I've had to deal with two long-term injuries. I had to rest and rehab a lot. After the second injury, I wanted to give up. However, I realized that professional kickboxing was my dream. To become the best, I had to keep going. After a long period of rehab, I won my first World Cup gold medal (senior) in my comeback year. Every time I get in the ring, I overcome my mental barriers and make progress."

Were you surprised by your original ratio of omega-6 to omega-3? Has anything changed since then?
"I knew how important omega-3 fatty acids were, but I had never heard of the ratio. When I first tested, my omega-6:-3 ratio was 17:1 - quite shocking. I eat fish several times a week, but it wasn't until I started taking BalanceOil that I was able to get my ratio into a healthy balance."

How did you find out about Zinzino?
"My mother introduced me to Zinzino. She had been taking the products for four years. She thought they would be good for me too. I'm really pleased with the results."
